Calendar Page: April
Hey readers,
you haven't heard from me since like...a month ago, I guess. But here I am again with the short reminder that a new month has started. It's April, our all favourite one when it comes to weather...not. But still a very lovely one, especially because spring's coming up here and sun is beginning to shine through the clouds, I could even catch some sunrays today (soo incredible, I know!).
The calendar page is about a very cute and happy animal with an even more happy saying on it, which is LIFE IS GOOD - So true!
To get my selfmade page just clich HERE, like always, and download its printable version.
Have a beautiful and happy April!
Til next time (or even month ;))
Cheers <3

You can't change them
They are like they are...
Like they used to be...
Who they look up to...
Who they love...
They are what they think...
What they watch also...
What they listen to...
And what they eat...
They're just them...
And you can't change that.
Did you like this kind of arty post ? Would you like some more of them in the future?

Selfmade calendar: February
Guess what? Already one month of 2016 is over and this means there's a new calender page waiting for you! Excited? Then click HERE to download the free february.
Every beginning of a month I post the belonging calendar page. You can do with it whatever you want, just leave it on your computer or press the print button and decorate your wall with it. I think that calendars are always a good decoration because they are not only there to make your home look beautiful but also to inform you which date we're at :) In my room I hung up 3 different calendars this year so I will never miss a date I hope.
What about you? Do you also have this kind of addiction to beautiful calendars and how many of them did you hang up this year?

The wish to reach limits
Thoughts by my travelling self...I am seriously in fear of reaching the limit of my memory card everytime I go on holiday!
But who doesn't know that feeling? You're on a great trip and feel like taking pictures every 2 minutes, whether you're just walking down an alley or looking at a famous cathedral. And then, after a few days or weeks of constantly taking pictures, you're beginning to worry about your memory and how full it might be at the moment. Most of the times I thought I only had few space left to take photos, there was always enough left for like the same amount of photos I've already taken. So another evidence why worrying on travel is just not necessary. Enjoy everything and soak up the moments!
Your memories will thank you for that - and your card memory as well, because you create less pictures with a digital frame but with your own eyes and soul.
Thanks for reading :)
Happy holidays, christmas shopping and travel time, of course!
Which are the big and tiny things you always worry about while travelling? How to you get to terms with them?

MalagArt
While still
in Malaga I was visiting the CAC which is a museum of contemporary art located by the river and the
port. The entrance is totally free so I had to give it a go!
And it was
absolutely worth it. The art inside was exactly my taste. There were
silkscreenprints by Andy Warhol and DFACE and there were also some crazy
sculptures like a skeleton sitting in an edge as tall and long as the hall was
high. You get to see pretty much cool stuff for like…nothing. Also when you
step outside the CAC there is art at the sidewalls of the dry canal (that is actually
only dry in the summer). I like ‘barrios’ like this one where you can find
graffiti pieces of every kind and size around every corner.
So are you such a big streetart fan as me? Do you even like modern art?

Here I am. En Malaga y la quiero mucho!
And I now
have the next few days to discover ‘todo’. Next to my apartment is the
‘Alcazaba’, a very old castle with lots of history. My friendly host
recommended me some places to visit in the city and the only thing is that I
can’t wait! But now I just need to sit down a little and sleep cause I didn’t
get enough of that last night. One more thing that is also very beautiful about
here is that the immense heat of 38 degrees actually doesn’t feel like it
because of the wind that comes from the sea. Ohh the sea, I’m gonna head there
tomorrow, too!

Bcn I'm in love
I’ve recently been to one of the most amazing cities with such a big streetart scene that makes me fall in love with it again everytime I visit it. So lucky me, I spent a few days in Barcelona and had enough time to enjoy the vibes of this great city by walking around the streets of Barri Gòtic and Raval, having a break in the Ciutadella park or gazing at the city from one of the hills around the city.
Let’s begin with some kind of graffiti tour through Raval and Gothic quartier
Carrer Canvis Nous is the perfect place to paste or spray - illegal but respected
you can see artwork of many Barcelona-based streetartists there
Some also use it for giving their furniture a new home :)
When walking through the streets of the quartiers with your eyes left and right to the walls and shutters, especially when you're having your walk by siesta time when most of the small shops are closed with their shutters down you can maybe spot some nice artwork on them.

By reaching the very center of the quartiers with all the narrow roads where the blue sky is only a stripe somewhere above your head dare to get a bit lost and turn in some more narrow streets where not so many people are crossing your way, you will find things like these at almost every doorstep or gate you walk past.

Isn't it amazing how even such doors look like a piece of art ?
Due to the unique and outstanding style of many streetartist in Barcelona you will soon recognize some work from a specific artist in more than one place.

konair is almost everywhere !
Streetart in Barcelona is always surprising cause there are so many different kinds of how it is displayed on the walls. To mention just a few of the most common styles found in Barcelona consider the pasteups that are one of my favorites cause they come along in many different kind of ways and are often very filigree, like the artist has just ripped out a page from his or her sketchbook and pasted it up totally spontaneous.
A paradise for pasteup lovers are doors like this !
Artists I could recognize: konair , veganbunnies_art , stencilbox , balu_art , bombingart , elgordo streetart , whisbe , rombillos , Seclestyle

Artist: le renard fou

Artist: mischief_ness

Another kind of making streetart is the stencilart where the artists do not spray the motives freehand but having prepared a stencil, or even some more - depends on the work, that they spray over with paint and look what beautiful results come out, I do love stencil art just as much as pasteups (or even a bit more;D)

As you have seen a bunch of photos yet, there are although some more, I can't help myself...
Just scroll down ang enjoy the colors :)
